Short Form Tai Chi

Tai Chi is a mind-body practice that combines slow, intentional movements with deep breathing and a meditative focus. Tai Chi (Taijiquan) originated in China as a martial art during the 17th century, with roots in earlier internal martial arts and Taoist philosophy. It is traditionally attributed to Chen Wangting, a military officer of the late Ming and early Qing dynasty. Over time, Tai Chi evolved into various styles, such as Chen, Yang, Wu, and Sun, with a strong emphasis on slow, flowing movements, internal energy (Qi), and balance between Yin and Yang.

No. Emphasis is on healing and well being. However, learning Tai Chi will teach grounding and strength.

Yes, all students must be over 18 to attend classes. I have taught children's classes in the past and may do so in the near future.
